I find the whole assult riffle issue oddly ironic. As if america wasnt violent enough or had the most gun related deaths already. And just to say they can be used for recreational hunting purposes amusses me more. I dont think anyone in the right mind would even think about spraying bambi with 300 bullets a minute for fun. Once those hundreds of bullets penetrate poor bambi's skin, its fur will be soaked in its own blood. Now who is going to want to hang a bloody deer carcas in their living room? Wear a bloody fur coat? Sleep in a bloody fur blanket? Walk on a bloody fur carpet? ummm are we barbarians? Is that the whole deal behind this?
